I got my first taste of triathlon after I moved here with my wife and kids from Canada, where we lived in Montreal. I competed in the Saint Louis Tri and completed two 70.3 races that year. After that I was hooked. I have been running my whole life, but swimming and biking have been something that I have learned a lot about recently

St. Louis Triathlon (Olympic Distance) May 2019 and Grand Rapids Michigan (70.3 Distance) June 2019
What is your favorite and least favorite gel flavor?
My favorite is cold brew coffee. I don’t have a least favorite because when you really need one, they are all good!

What is the most challenging moment you’ve had during a race?
St. Louis Triathlon- Open water swim (whitecaps)!
What is your favorite place in or around St. Louis to train?
In my basement (pain cave)
What is the worst food you’ve tried in training or racing and why?
My diet is pretty boring. I like to stick to a routine that doesn’t interfere with my training. I train to eat and eat to train … And I LOVE pizza
What is your favorite thing about triathlon?
Finishing, food trucks and post-race meals
What is the one piece of tri-geek gear you can’t live without?
My Wahoo Kickr and power pedals
