Join your club members at the 13thannual Cranksgiving ride, a food drive sponsored by BWorks (Bike Works).
We will cycle to various grocery stores and purchase food items for Operation Food Search’s (OFS) back pack program. Cyclists can choose from either a 5, 10, 25 or 50-mile route. Leaving from the Schlafly Tap Room (2100 Locust), Cranksgiving takes place on Sunday, November 11.
This is our opportunity to:
- Give back to St. Louis’ most vulnerable through OFS’ back pack program;
- Do what many of us love to do – cycle; and
- Promote the St. Louis Triathlon Club (please wear St. Louis Tri Club attire, if possible).
To learn more about Cranksgiving, go to the BWorks Cranksgiving page and register for the event. The cost is $15 to ride and that amount is donated to OFS to purchase items at wholesale and you should bring another $5 to $10 for additional items to stock the backpacks.
THERE IS NO NEED TO TRANSPORT YOUR FOOD ITEMS. COLLECTION BINS ARE AT THE GROCERY STORES.
Please RSVP on the St. Louis Triathlon Club website, so we have an idea about our participation level.
