This run coincides with the USA Cycling Pro Road Tour Gateway Cup– the fastest race on wheels- Missouri’s pro cycling event. You will get to race almost two full laps of the closed race course. THEN hang out all afternoon for the bicycle races to experience the best this awesome neighborhood has to offer. There is an Expo and activities all day long. (More info at www.gatewaycup.com)
Details: The course will be almost 2 Laps (a true 5K) of the Benton Park Classic Race Course.
- 5k and Kids Fun Run
- Stroller AND Dog Friendly
- Edible Gus’ Pretzel medals for all finishers
- post-race festival at the Gateway Cup
The Course: 3.1 Miles (5K) Flat and Winding. Starts at Lemp/Crittenden – near the Shell Gas Station – race to the Anheuser Busch Brewery and then past some of Benton Park’s Iconic Landmarks- Venice Cafe, Frazer’s Restaurant, Benton Park Cafe and Yemanja Brazil. After completing your second lap the finish is located at Arsenal/McNair across from the TSG Gateway Cup Expo area within Benton Park.
