Interested in leading a group event on a regular basis? If so, please reach out to one of our board members and we will publicize the activity on the website and on our Facebook page. Also, feel free to include a training event on the Facebook page if you want to get a group together. We are always looking for opportunities to play together!
RECURRING GROUP EVENTS (Year Round)
Sunday morning swims: The Club has reserved the use of the Whispering Hills club house pool (12545 Markaire, St Louis) on Sundays from 8-10am. The pool will be open every Sunday with a few exceptions for holidays and other events. We will occasionally host a challenge or coached swim, but will leave a lane open for those who have their own plan. You can do your own swim or join the Mentoring Program’s swim, which you can learn more about on the Mentoring page. Scroll down to see individual event occurrences.
OTHER GROUP EVENTS (Seasonal)
Tuesday night Creve Coeur Park Bricks: Join fellow members for Tuesday night bricks from Creve Coeur Park. Bike ride start time may vary depending on daylight hours – exact time will be included on the specific event page. The group will meet at the Sailboat Cove parking lot of Creve Coeur Park near the Tremayne shelter. Routes vary in distance but will typically be in the range of 15-30 miles. Sunday Morning Swim - Whispering Hills ClubhouseWe have reserved the Whispering Hills Clubhouse pool every Sunday morning from 8am to 10am. This is a 25 yard pool. Enter the clubhouse through the side door (closest to the main parking lot) that leads to the fitness area. Note that we need to be out of the pool building at or as close to 10am as possible. So plan your arrival to ensure you have enough time to complete your swim and any post-swim activities(showers, etc) by 10am. The majority of Sundays will be open swim so bring your own swim plan. Special sessions or clinics are typically held during the winter and early spring months and will be announced ahead of time. The pool may remain closed during inclement weather (snow and ice). The pool may also be closed in order to not conflict with attendance at local triathlons such as the New Town Triathlon and the St Louis Triathlon (to name a few).
