The Skippo is officially open for registration. Don’t wait too long club members, the Skippo will sell out! Our friends at Big River Running always put on fabulous races at Castlewood State Park and the Skippo is one of the best trail races in our area. Just as they did in 2013, there will be races on both days, Saturday, November 8th for the 10K, and Sunday, November 9th for the 20K and 30K.
You can sign up for one day or the other, or both if you’re so inclined (get it? incline…)! You can also race one day and volunteer the other. Great swag and a fun post-race party featuring BBQ are a staple of Big River’s Castlewood trail races. You’ll get a nice long-sleeve tech tee and a Skippo mug. 20K finishers also will get a finisher medal and 30K finishers will get a belt buckle.
